Painter

We are seeking skilled and reliable Painters who will be expected to perform all stages of vehicle painting and prep to paint in accordance with source documents and company procedures. Will paint a variety of items utilizing various materials (i.e. CARC and Military coatings) Must independently plan details of work, selecting method, equipment and process best suited for particular requirements.Prepares surfaces for paint application by sanding, cleaning and masking; mixes paints according to requirementsCoats the surfaces of an aircraft or ground vehicle with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devicesRemoves old paint from aircraft or ground vehicle, using liquid paint remover and scraperInspects painted parts for defects like runs, snags and oversprayFollows established quality standards for painting processesDocuments paint application details and maintains recordsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperienceOne-year general experience requiredAny combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO and CEO.
