Job Summary:The Cath Lab RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing various cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional treatments for coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. The role involves managing a daily caseload of 8-12 patients and requires participation in weekend and call rotations.Location:Eureka, California, United StatesResponsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.- Manage a daily caseload of 8-12 patients.- Assist with procedures related to Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in the Cath Lab.- Participate in weekend and call rotations.- Chart patient information using Epic.Required Skills & Certifications:- Active Registered Nurse license.- ARRT certification.- Fluoroscopy Permit.- BLS certification.- ACLS certification.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab.Preferred Skills & Certifications:- RCIS certification (Note: RCIS alone is not acceptable).Special Considerations:- Weekend and call coverage required.- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment.- Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.- Will consider candidates with pending Fluoro permits if they have already applied for the permit at time of submission.Scheduling:- Work schedule and shift type not specified.- Weekend and call rotations required.
