Customer Service Rep/Automotive Glass - Hybrid

Job Function: The incumbent is responsible for answering phones promptly and professionally, processing customer orders, and handling customer needs, while promoting the Company's product offering and promotions. Developing and maintaining good customer relations at all times is the primary focus. Incumbent utilizes the computer system for product inquiry, product receiving and order processing, as well as handling various administrative duties as assigned.Qualifications Required:One-year previous clerical and/or customer service experienceExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Organizational skillsPrevious phone experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in English language (verbal and written)Professional phone voice and demeanorSuperior customer relations skillExcellent attendanceQualifications Desired:High School or equivalent (GED)Valid driver's licensePrevious multi-line phone experienceAbility to learn computer-based inventory control systemsEssential Functions:Takes customer orders primarily via telephone, providing prompt courteous service. Develops and maintains positive customer relations.Always promotes teamwork and positive local working environment.Responds to customers' needs and complaints in a timely manner.Processes returns accurately, completely, and timely. Researches and responds to customer inquiries in regard to payments, statements, delinquencies, credits, etc. Obligated to keep confidential any information that pertains to customers and competitors.Complies with all safety policies and procedures.Develops own industry knowledge.Promotes the sale of non-glass accessory items. Actively participates in team meetings.Performs other related duties as assigned by local management. Complies with all J SOX requirements.Monday thru Friday - 930am to 6:30pm EDT - Rotating Saturdays every 12 weeks 8am to 3pm or 10am to 3pm EDTHourly pay will depend on experience.
