This is a great opportunity to join an employee first company offering competitive compensation, RSUs, generous employee benefits and strong career pathing.What You'll Be Doing:Function as a contributor in the development of the company's aseptic product strategyCreate detailed engineering and design plans for aseptic food products ranging from dairy products, juices, blended products, viscous concentrates and pastesOptimize, troubleshoot and maintain existing aseptic manufacturing lines to improve quality, productivity and safetyPrepare conceptual process and packaging designs which can enhance existing or new aseptic product portfolioManage multiple assigned projects establishing manpower, budgets, scheduling, equipment, and materialsEvaluate and present appropriate current and new equipment and technologyPrepare process analysis of existing processing technologies and systemsConduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysisParticipate in industry tradeshows and technical conferences to identify new technologies and innovations in aseptic processing and packaging applicable to the CompanyIncorporate personnel safety, food safety and regulatory requirements into all solutionsMaintain an up-to-date awareness of Federal, State, and Local engineering codes and regulationsFollow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirementsSupport the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF SystemsAccountable to the Food Safety and Quality PrinciplesMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationWhat You'll Bring:6 years of progressive engineering experience in food/beverage manufacturing and dairy processing3 years of dairy process engineer experience, preferably in Aseptic dairyProven experience in food safety, hygienic design, aseptic, beverage, dairy and juice design standardsKnowledge of other liquid food and beverage processing technologies including extended shelf -life (ESL), ultra clean and hot fill a plusCapital project management experienceRelevant technical expertise and application knowledge of aseptic processing and packagingDemonstrated interpersonal skills with strong grasp of engineering disciplines, plant operations and constructionExperience formulating and executing plans that when complete, met pre-defined project goalsStrong oral/written communication skillsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
