About the FirmOur client is a well-regarded litigation firm known for handling complex matters. They offer a collaborative environment where the docketing function plays a key role in supporting their legal teams.ResponsibilitiesCalculate and track litigation deadlines in accordance with court rules and proceduresMaintain and update the firm’s litigation calendar across multiple mattersCoordinate and process court filings in state and federal courts (electronic and manual)Respond to inquiries from lawyers and staff regarding deadlines and procedural requirementsMonitor case activity and circulate updates on filings, orders, and developmentsPrepare docket reports and deadline summaries as neededConduct research using court databases and retrieve filed documentsLiaise with external vendors, including filing agents and process serversWork closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy in docketing and calendaringAssist with general litigation support and administrative tasksRequirements5+ years of experience in docketing, calendaring, or litigation supportStrong understanding of court rules and filing proceduresExperience with docketing systems (e.g., CourtAlert, CompuLaw or similar)Proficiency with PACER and other court databasesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentClear communication skills and a team-oriented approachCompensationSalary: $75,000 – $80,000Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)Full benefits packageSupportive team environment with exposure to complex litigation workWe do not use AI to screen candidates.
