HR Support Specialist

Job Title: Temporary HR Support Specialist (Travel Required)Location: Strongsville, OH - Some travel requiredJob Type: Temporary (Potential for Temp-to-Hire)About The RoleEmerge is seeking a Temporary HR Support Specialist who can jump in and provide much-needed backup during a busy period. This role is ideal for someone with a bit of HR experience who is tech-savvy, adaptable, and ready to be the right-hand support to their HR lead. You'll help keep things running smoothly—both at the office and on the road—as we onboard teams at various out-of-state job sites.While this is a temporary position, there is potential for it to become permanent based on performance and company needs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including handling mail (unemployment claims, verifications, etc.) and responding to HR-related phone calls.Assist with onboarding and terminations in our HR systems (experience with BullHorn is a plus, but not required—willingness to learn is key).Travel to out-of-state job sites as needed to support remote onboarding efforts.Help with organizing employee records, maintaining accurate documentation, and responding to internal HR requests.Be a flexible, dependable support to the HR department—especially during busy travel weeks.Qualifications1-2 years of experience in an HR or related administrative support role.Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn HR systems.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Willingness and ability to travel (travel will be covered by the company).Positive, can-do attitude with a sense of humor—someone who can roll with the punches and keep things moving.Why Join Us?You'll get hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment.Opportunity to travel and support teams at different sites.Potential to transition into a full-time role and grow with the company.If you are qualified for this position, please click "apply now”.
