Residential Maintenance Technician
Description
The Maintenance department is looking for a Technician to join our Maintenance Department. The responsibilities of this year-round position include assessing, solving, and repairing damages inside residential units and common area buildings with the ability to accurately record and document work completed and clearly communicate service order status to supervisors, guests, and homeowners. Provides assistance in both non-emergency and emergency situations and responds to resort calls from all departments requesting assistance.
Must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills, be mechanically willing-inclined, and have a willingness to learn. Must have reliable transportation, basic hand tools, and a valid driver's license to apply. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Records and documents time required to complete all jobs, descriptions of work completed, types of materials and prices of materials used, co-techs, and status of the job.
Repairs and maintains physical structures of establishment.
Repairs, refinishes, strips, and sands furniture and paints a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
Repairs and rebuilds faucets and unplugs toilets.
Responds to all fire alarm calls; goes to the location, checks for fire, resets false alarms, calls in fire department for actual fires, and notifies all necessary parties of actions being taken.
Creates texture ceilings by applying the mixture to ceilings with spray guns, masks out walls and covers or removes all furniture, cleans equipment, and resets rooms.
Install and lock down TVs and entertainment systems within the resort homes.
Repairs windows, and doors; builds, installs, and repairs screens for windows, doors, etc.

Pay: $22.24 - $26.78 per hour
