Dangerous Goods Clerk | WEEKEND SHIFT

The Dangerous Goods Shipping Clerk at Arvato performs both clerical and physical tasks related to the safe handling, approval, and shipment of Dangerous Goods (DG). This includes, but is not limited to, labeling, documentation, reporting, and evaluating package compliance for shipments transported by air or ground. YOUR TASKS* Responsible for ensuring all shipments comply with Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements when packing, labeling, and marking DG packages.* Ensures accurate and compliant documentation by preparing and maintaining Dangerous Goods Shipper Declarations in accordance with U.S., international, and carrier regulations.* Collaborates with office staff and warehouse cargo teams to support safe and efficient DG shipping operations.* Completes and maintains required DOT and IATA certification training provided by Arvato.YOUR PROFILE* High School Diploma or equivalent required.* Ability to commute to the company's facility in Louisville, Kentucky.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Experience shipping dangerous goods or lithium ion batteries preferred.WE OFFER* Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay.* 401(k) with company matching up to 6%.* Paid Time Off, including paid holidays.* Flexible Spending Accounts.* Voluntary benefits such as legal and financial assistance, pet insurance, and more.* Employee Assistance Program.* Ongoing employee development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and training.* Commuter benefits.* Employee engagement activities.EOE Protected Veterans/Disability
