X-Ray Technologist in Southern California

Compliance:Demonstrates adherence to the Code of Conduct and compliance policies, addressing and reporting compliance questions, concerns, or suspected violations.Patient Information:Obtains all relevant medical information from patients to identify age-specific needs.Radiographic Procedures:Performs radiographic procedures with a focus on high technical quality.Radiation Protection:Utilizes proper radiation protection measures to safeguard patients from excessive radiation exposure.Equipment Use:Demonstrates efficiency in using all equipment and promptly reports any deficiencies to the immediate supervisor.Room Maintenance:Stocks x-ray rooms between exams and at the end of shifts to ensure readiness for subsequent procedures.Diagnostic Procedures:Conducts appropriate diagnostic procedures as ordered and assists Radiologists during procedures.Workload Management:Takes on additional procedures during periods of heavy workload to maintain workflow efficiency.Documentation:Documents any changes in patient condition using appropriate forms.Patient Preparation:Obtains appropriate medical history before patient examination and ensures patient readiness for the exam.Additional Duties:Performs receptionist and Radiology Assistant duties when necessary.Radiograph Production:Produces radiographs and follows isolation techniques per policy and procedures.Safety Practices:Adheres to ALARA guidelines and applies Universal Precautions in all situations to maintain safety.Film Production:Produces films as needed to support diagnostic procedures.Other Duties:Performs any other assigned duties as required by the supervisor.To apply or learn more about this position, please email a resume to and Marissa Katsounakis will reach out with more information.
