Compensation: $35/hrLocation: Katy, TXIT Project CoordinatorInceed has partnered with a leading retail company to help find an IT Project Coordinator to join their team.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join our Enterprise Program Management team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project assistance, or as a junior project manager, with a proven track record of managing budgets and resource allocation for large-scale projects. This role involves overseeing a budget in the range of several millions of dollars and coordinating a team of over 100 individuals. The IT Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by managing timelines, budgets, resources, and communication across multiple teams.Key Responsibilities: Budget Management:Assist in the development, tracking, and management of project budgets, ensuring that all financial aspects are aligned with project goals and company standards. Monitor budgetary spending and identify potential risks or areas for cost-saving. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of project expenses. Resource Allocation:Coordinate and manage resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization of over 100 team members. Work closely with team leads to understand resource needs and constraints, ensuring projects are staffed appropriately. Track and report on resource availability, usage, and allocation changes. Project Coordination:Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution. Facilitate regular project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document action items. Communication and Reporting:Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related communication, ensuring clear and consistent updates to all stakeholders. Prepare and distribute regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues. Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Risk and Issue Management:Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, escalating them to senior management as necessary. Work proactively to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Qualifications: Experience:2+ years of experience in project coordination, project assistance, or as a junior project manager, preferably within a large enterprise environment. Demonstrated experience managing budgets for large-scale projects, with a clear understanding of financial tracking and reporting. Certifications:PMP certification or current pursuit of PMP certification is strongly preferred. Skills:Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
