Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, picking, and shipping of products. This role is crucial for maintaining food safety and adhering to legal, safety, and quality standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesMonitor warehouse operations to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality; ensure housekeeping is kept at optimal levelsEnsure employees are organized and on time at the start of the shiftUnderstand performance metrics for all warehouse activitiesEnsure proper stock rotation and organization in the warehouse for all categories of productsEnsure Finished Goods are picked accurately, shipped in FEFO order with the correct lot codes, meet shelf-life agreements and quality standardsEnsure all warehouse documentation and SAP transactions are completed correctly, always up to date, and accurateEnsure all materials are received accurately and in a timely fashion, and stored accurately and safelyCommunicate all operational, inventory, safety and quality issues to Management, QA, Customer Service and ProductionEnforce adherence to company policies and procedures by colleagues and outside contractors (GMPs, attendance, breaks, process procedures, health & safety, etc.); ensure equipment operates safely according to company food safety policies and proceduresGenerate accident reports for any employee accident or near miss within the plant and participate with the accident investigationProvide job training for employees as needed; maintain training records in collaboration with H&S ManagerProvide hands on supervision to motivate warehouse workers to search for continuous process improvementsAlleviate workers grievances through effective listening and firm actions.Track and regulate overtime to prevent misuse.Ensure performance criteria are integrated into daily activitiesAnticipate issues which may impact warehouse performance and addresses those issues effectively through appropriate actionsEvaluate capex requirements together with manager to enhance warehouse performance.Prior Knowledge/Experience3+ years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a lead/supervisory roleHigh School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferredMust have knowledge of warehouse management systems, replenishment methodology including bills of materials and routings, inventory control techniques, materials logistics and flow - FIFO, FEFO, and ERP/MRP practices and techniques.Demonstrated knowledge of SAPProficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPointExceptional written & verbal communication skills. Written and verbal Spanish is an advantageAbility to work collaboratively at all levels and builds partnerships with cross-functional teamsExcellent organizational, planning, influence, presentation, and follow-up skills.Self-motivated and must be persuasive in presenting ideas and managing their implementation.The following common allergens are processed in our facilities: wheat, eggs, dairy, and soy.Looking for a Career for Good?Compensation:Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $64,680 to $92,000.Additional compensation earned through a 5% targeted annual bonus.
