Interim Non-Profit Controller Duration: 3+ Months Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days in Office We are seeking a hands-on Controller to scale accounting operations within a growing non-profit environment. Key Responsibilities:Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and GL activitiesOversee AP/AR, payroll, cash flow, and internal controlsDrive automation and process improvements within QBO and integrated systems Ensure compliance with GAAP, Uniform Guidance, and Audit requirementsManage audits and serve as liaison to external auditors and BoardLead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisPartner with leadership to assess team capabilities and support organizational growthRequirements: Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and building scalable accounting processesBackground in non-profit accounting, including grant complianceExperience with inventory/logistics is preferredProven ability to run process improvements and implement automationStrong communicator who can translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders
