This is a hands-on execution role designed for a strong doer who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.This is an opportunity to work with a seasoned executive team supporting Fortune 100 C-Suite level clients on some of their most mission critical issuesThe nature of our work is high-stakes and urgent, so the role requires the understanding that weekend and evening work will be required when necessary.What You'll DoExecute day-to-day client work across financial, crisis, and special situations engagementsDraft and edit high-quality written materials including media materials, client updates, briefing documents, and internal communicationsSupport senior team members in managing complex, time-sensitive projectsMonitor news, issues, and regulatory developments relevant to client mattersCoordinate across teams and time zones to ensure seamless executionDemonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and urgency when handling confidential mattersExperience That Contributes To Success3–5 years of experience in strategic communications, financial communications, crisis, or issues managementExperience working on litigation, government investigations, capital markets, or special situations preferredExceptional writing and editing skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyComfort operating in a 24/7, high-stakes environment with fluctuating workloadsPrior advisory firm experience is a plusBurson is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics.
