[JD for Air...-developed | Word] We are seeking a Low-Code Application Developer (AppSheet) to design, develop, maintain, and enhance business-critical applications supporting engineering, certification, and scheduling activities. This is a hands-on role focused on application development, workflow automation, data management, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to transform operational requirements into practical digital solutions leveraging Google AppSheet and the broader Google Workspace ecosystem. Mission / Objectives: Redevelop and enhance the current certification and scheduling solution Design and maintain applications using Google AppSheet Automate operational workflows and eliminate manual processes Improve data visibility, consistency, and traceability Support engineering teams through user-centric digital solutions Ensure alignment with security, governance, and operational requirements Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Design, build, configure, and maintain applications using Google AppSheet Develop forms, workflows, dashboards, actions, and automation processes Translate business requirements into scalable and easy-to-use solutions Conduct testing, validation, deployment, and troubleshooting activities Maintain and continuously improve existing applications Business Process Automation: Analyze current processes and identify automation opportunities Collaborate with engineering and operational stakeholders to optimize workflows Replace manual spreadsheet-based activities with digital solutions Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the application landscape Google Workspace Integration: Develop solutions leveraging: Google AppSheet Google Sheets Google Forms Google Drive Gmail Google Calendar Ensure seamless data flows across Google applications Support integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP when required Data & Reporting Design and manage application data structures Ensure data quality, reliability, and traceability Develop dashboards and reports supporting business decision-making Support reporting and analytics requirements User Support & Adoption Provide functional and technical support to end users Gather enhancement requests and implement improvements Create user documentation and training material Support user adoption and ongoing solution evolution Required Skills & Experience: Technical Skills: Strong experience with Google AppSheet Experience developing low-code/no-code business applications Good knowledge of: Google Sheets Google Drive Google Forms Google Workspace Experience with workflow automation and business process digitization Understanding of data models and relational data structures Experience creating dashboards and operational reports Functional Skills: Business requirements gathering Business process analysis Continuous improvement methodologies User support and troubleshooting Solution-oriented mindset Industry Experience (Preferred) Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering environments Scheduling, planning, or certification processes Soft Skills: Strong communication skills Ability to work directly with business users Autonomous and proactive mindset Hands-on problem-solving approach Strong customer-service orientation Nice-to-Have: Google Apps Script API integration experience Smartsheet migration or replacement projects Experience interacting with SAP environments Knowledge of aerospace engineering processes Exposure to data governance and compliance requirements KPIs / Success Criteria: Successful redevelopment and deployment of the target solution Reduction of manual activities and spreadsheet dependencies Improved data quality and reporting capabilities High user adoption and satisfaction Timely resolution of support requests and enhancement needs Increased operational efficiency across engineering teams The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour.
