Senior Product Manager - Payor Analytics
Position SummaryCVS Health's Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) organization tackles complex challenges at the intersection of healthcare and technology. We use advanced analytics, machine learning, modeling, and hypothesis-driven approaches to turn data into actionable insights that drive growth, improve outcomes, and increase access to care across CVS Health. Our teams build next-generation data and machine learning platforms that support healthier outcomes for more than 100 million customers.ResponsibilitiesStructure and scale an internal analytics product function that receives high-volume business requests, focusing initially on intake, prioritization, and workflow governance, and gradually lead the portfolio towards a holistic product vision and roadmap.Establish and manage an operating model for analytics requests, including intake processes, prioritization frameworks, routing, backlog hygiene, capacity visibility, and minimizing duplicate work.Conduct user research, usability testing, and SME interviews to gather requirements and align stakeholders.Lead near-term efforts in process design, stakeholder alignment, intake standardization, service model design, workflow optimization, and change management.Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements for data science, engineering, and business teams.Demonstrate success in improving request prioritization, reducing duplicated work, optimizing analyst capacity, and increasing adoption of internal AI-enabled tools.Support engineering and data science teams through requirement clarification, agile ceremonies, and user context.Manage analytics workflows, product backlog, and cross-team scoping and prioritization.Lead day-to-day planning and champion Agile best practices.Drive change management efforts, including adoption of new processes, stakeholder education, and transition from ad hoc to standardized or self-service workflows.Coordinate dependencies across teams and stakeholders.Define and analyze product performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.Support business case development and roadmap planning with stakeholders and leadership.Promote best practices in product management and contribute to A&BC's product-focused transformation.Required Qualifications4+ years in Product Management or Technical Product Management.3+ years working with Data Science and/or Engineering teams.3+ years in healthcare payer/provider operations, healthcare analytics, workflow/process improvement, or operational decision support.3+ years partnering with SMEs to define ambiguous processes.3+ years of strong stakeholder management experience.3+ years working with Agile methodologies.3+ years driving outcomes in complex environments.2+ years' experience with utilization management/prior authorization workflows and related metrics.2+ years developing workflow or decision-support capabilities using AI/ML.2+ years working with internal workflow tools or structured analytics support models.Preferred QualificationsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytics requests.Strength in prioritization and senior stakeholder alignment.Experience in healthcare operations, healthcare technology, or enterprise workflow tools.Experience with user adoption strategies and change management for frontline operations.Strong Excel/SQL/analytics skills.Proven track record managing products from concept through launch.Passion for transforming healthcare through improved efficiency and technology.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or related quantitative field.Master's degree or MBA preferred.Anticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$106,605.00 - $284,280.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
