The Psychiatry locum tenens opportunity in California-Location: 45 minutes south of Sacramento, CA-Duration: November 6, 2023 June 30, 2024 (potential for extension) -Schedule: 7on, 7off (Sunday Monday)-Shift: rounds start at 7, able to leave after rounds are complete (estimated 10-12 hours per day)-Call: 1-2 weekends per month, Friday 5p-Monday 7a (no night call)-Patient Volume: up to 15 patients per day -Scope: rounding on the adult inpatient unit (no ER, no consults)-EMR: Cerner-Group: 3 other psychiatrists -Support: 2 residents, NP for night call triage (no NPs on the unit during the day)-Hospital: standalone behavioral health, 35 bed unit, affiliated hospital is level II trauma center >patients are only admitted to the behavioral health hospital after being medically cleared-Requirements: Board certified with a California license
