Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Apprentice Carpenter/Bathroom Remodel Apprentice to join our dynamic construction team. This paid position offers hands-on experience in residential carpentry and bathroom remodeling projects, providing a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. As an apprentice, you will assist experienced carpenters in executing various construction tasks, gaining valuable knowledge of building techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards. Responsibilities Assist with reading and interpreting construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation under supervision. Support the installation of bathroom fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, tile, and flooring materials with precision and care. Participate in heavy lifting, material handling, and preparation of work sites to ensure efficient workflow. Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, power tool safety, and general construction site safety standards. Aid in the fabrication and assembly of custom woodwork or metal components as needed for remodeling projects. Contribute to restoration efforts including water damage remediation, stucco application, siding installation, and mold remediation tasks. Qualifications Basic knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines is a plus. Prior construction experience or hands-on work in residential carpentry or remodeling projects is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active construction sites. Strong interest in learning various aspects of carpentry such as framing, trim work, cabinet installation, door hanging, drywall finishing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, siding, and flooring installation. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaborating effectively with skilled tradespeople.
