BIM Manager

Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensure compliance with project requirements.Provide training, mentorship and support to project team members and junior BIM Specialist.Define and enforce BIM Standards, workflows and best practices for the project team.Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with architects, engineers, and trade partners to resolve issues before construction. Work closely with MEP team to ensure accurate integration of design components.Manage the federated model, perform clash detection, and help resolve design conflicts using Navisworks, Revit, or similar tools.Stay up to date with BIM advancements, AI-driven construction tools and automation trends.Evaluate and implement new tools, workflows, and integrations to optimize efficiency in design and construction.Manage onboarding, training, and digital solution mobilization, ensure efficient information delivery. Oversee task teams, monitor progress, and address any delays promptly.Monitor modelling performance and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with firm and clients’ standards.Support the design and construction team with RFI resolution, design changes and constructability reviews.Perform the foregoing using BIM software including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and Management software i.e. Procore, MS Project, Autodesk Construction Cloud. Emerging technology i.e. Scan-to-BIM, and Laser Scanning.Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Related Field and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or any other job title performing the following job duties:Developed and implemented the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensured compliance with project requirements.Provided training, mentorship and support to project team members and junior BIM Specialist.Defined and enforced BIM Standards, workflows and best practices for the project team.Facilitated meetings with MEP Engineers and Construction Team to resolve issues.Managed the federated model, performed clash detection using Navisworks, Revit and similar tools.Stayed up to date on design and construction automation techniques.Evaluated and implemented new tools, workflows, and integrations to optimize efficiency in design and construction.Managed onboarding, training, and digital solution mobilization, ensured efficient information delivery.
