We are seeking a motivated Controls Engineer to support and enhance automation systems critical to our automotive production lines, specifically in the assembly of seating and overhead systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with hands-on PLC experience looking to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You’ll DoControls & AutomationTroubleshoot, program, and maintain PLC systemsWork with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platforms and Studio 5000Diagnose PLC ladder logic and data handling issuesMaintain and back up PLC programs and documentationSupport I/O devices including HMIs, scanners, sensors, relays, solenoids, and remote I/OEngineering & Process SupportAssist with process evaluations related to engineering changesReview controls drawings and provide technical feedbackSupport equipment specifications and controls design discussionsContinuous Improvement & QualityParticipate in PFMEA and root cause analysis (8D, etc.)Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and poka-yoke initiativesIdentify process abnormalities and implement corrective actionsMaintenance SupportAssist maintenance teams in troubleshooting equipment and automation systemsSupport pneumatic and instrumentation troubleshootingWhat We’re Looking For1–5 years of experience in controls or automationHands-on experience with: Allen-Bradley PLCs, Studio 5000 and ControlLogix systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAssociate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred, not required)
