Please check your financial aid award letter or connect with Student Financial Services if you have questions.Job DescriptionAs a result of being an AugSem Student Leader, students will:Develop empathic communication and skills as they listen to, engage with, and support first-year studentsSupport first-year students' development of skills related to communication, organization, time management, and studyingEnhance their ability to advocate for othersImprove skills connected to moderating and facilitating group engagement and activitiesFurther expand their intercultural competency skillsDevelop collaborative skills as they work closely with their AugSem course professorLearn to manage responsibilities associated with a leadership positionShifts are typically Monday-Friday evening hours, Saturday day and evening hours.QualificationsMinimum GPA of 2.0Strong organizational, administrative, and leadership skillsStrong commitment to student supportAbility to effectively communicate, delegate, and work to develop a teamDesire to work in a flexible, team-focused atmosphereWilling to complete other duties as assignedAdditional InformationAugsburg University is an Equal Opportunity employer.
