These positions provide an excellent opportunity to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Communication Impairments (CI) across various grade levels, starting immediately through June 5, 2026.Location: Ypsilanti, MIContract Duration: ASAP start – June 5, 2026Hours: Full timeCaseload2 positions for Elementary ASD-CI classrooms 1 position for High School ASD classroom 1 position for Resource room Qualifications And ExperienceActive Michigan Special Education license, specifically CI or ASD (must be current and valid) Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Communication Impairments Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education regulations Ability to create inclusive, supportive learning environments tailored to diverse student needs Effective communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement individualized education plans for assigned students Deliver specialized instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students with ASD and CI Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate records, complete reports, and adhere to all district policies and state regulations This role offers an engaging professional environment focused on meaningful impact in special education.
