DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with ARRT or RCIS certification and at least 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience for an acute care setting.
DetailsWork in a cardiac cath lab within an acute care setting
Single suite/lab with an average of 1-3 cases per day
Primarily adult inpatient and outpatient population with diagnoses including CAD and AMI
Perform procedures such as left heart caths, stent placement, ICD and pacemaker implantation
Use Siemens cath, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS equipment and chart using Epic EMR
Day shifts scheduled 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8 hours, with call requirement
Call required 1-2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month, and rotating holidays covering 3 campuses
30-minute call response time to home campus required
Floating to Lakeside and Immanuel (Omaha) as needed
Hospital-supplied scrubs provided
RequirementsMinimum 1 year of recent cardiac cath lab experience required
Current ARRT or RCIS certification and BLS (AHA) required
Active state or compact licensure required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
Experience with Siemens cath, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS systems and Epic EMR preferred
Cath lab skills including scrubbing, monitoring, and documentation
Driver's license required for radius verification
Must be able to provide 2 professional references as specified
Additional InformationAssist physicians by scrubbing and monitoring during cath lab procedures and managing case documentation
Orientation provided at all 3 campuses, 1-3 days each
Coverage team supervised by an on-site supervisor
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas and must be removed
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and may not be active employees of any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
Must meet a 30-minute response time to home site when on call
First-time travelers will be considered
