Independent Field Service Technician (Contractor)

What You Will Do (The Mission) As an independent partner, you will act as our eyes and hands on-site, delivering critical technical services: Execute & Commission: Perform high-level installation support, commissioning, and component replacements for BESS and inverters. Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Independently diagnose electrical/mechanical issues and perform corrective maintenance (no hand-holding required). Validate Your Work: Submit clear service logs, data reports, and photos to validate your billable hours. Safety First: Manage your own hazard assessments and PPE strictly adhering to OSHA and NFPA 70E standards. ✅ Who We Are Looking For We need reliability, grit, and technical aptitude. Experience: 1-3+ years in electrical, solar, construction, or industrial environments. Technical Skills: Ability to read schematics and perform mechanical/electrical labor independently. Road Warrior: Willingness to travel extensively (70%–100%) within the region. Physicality: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in field conditions. Tooling: You must own standard hand tools and basic PPE (Steel-toed boots, voltage testers, etc.). Specialized diagnostic gear is provided on-site. ✅Preferred Qualifications (Stand Out from the Crowd) OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, or relevant electrical certifications.
