About the Opportunity:The Financial Analyst plays a central role in analyzing, reporting, and forecasting expenses related to the operating and support functions of the organization. This position directly influences financial decision-making by identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving financial awareness among business units, and supporting profitability optimization. The role involves collaboration with various teams and contributes to strategic financial planning through data analysis and forecasting.3. Responsibilities:Analyze and report departmental budget and forecast variances, recommending corrective actions.Analyze vendor expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities.Lead reporting, analysis, and forecasting for specific organizational expense categories.Monitor and report on capital expenditures, supporting ROI analysis.Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports to operational teams and senior leadership.Analyze headcount-related expenses focusing on volume, rate, and mix drivers.Use SQL and database tools to mine data and link datasets to financial metrics.Provide process improvement recommendations to business leadership.Develop predictive models and forecast inputs for monthly, quarterly, and annual projections.Perform additional duties as assigned.4. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Statistics.3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills.Detail-oriented and organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong reporting, data management, and accounting skills with an auditing mindset.Exceptional analytical skills for identifying and resolving complex business issues.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.5. Required Skills:Master’s degree in a related field.Experience in financial planning and analysis within mortgage subservicing or servicing industries.Skills in digital tools such as Power BI and SQL for analyzing large datasets.6. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Compensation range: $58,700 - $98,600 annually, varying based on qualifications, skills, and experience.7.
