Nephrology Physician

DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with kidney diseases and related conditions in various locations in the state of Texas.Job Description:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with various kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), glomerulonephritis, and kidney stones.Manage patients with hypertension and electrolyte disorders, which often accompany kidney disease.Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).Perform kidney biopsies and interpret diagnostic tests.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.Educate patients on kidney health and disease prevention.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in nephrology through ongoing professional development.Qualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in NephrologyValid medical license in Texas StateExtensive experience in diagnosing and treating kidney diseasesProficiency in managing dialysis and other renal replacement therapiesStrong clinical judgment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environmentBenefits:Highly competitive hourly rateFlexible scheduling optionsOpportunity to make a significant impact on patients' livesAccess to a supportive and collaborative team
