The role involves assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of rehabilitative services, ensuring improved communication abilities and overall patient well-being.Key Responsibilities• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on clinical evaluations.• Plan, organize, and participate in therapeutic and rehabilitative programs to improve communication skills.• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.• Recommend additional services or referrals based on patient needs and clinical findings.• Conduct special education assessments when required and present findings to the Committee on Special Education (CSE).• Select, recommend, and train individuals in the use of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems.• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes.• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical, educational, and correctional staff, to ensure coordinated care.• Participate in research activities related to speech and language disorders and present findings as needed.• Adhere to all applicable regulatory standards, facility policies, and confidentiality requirements.Work Schedule & Conditions• Schedule: Per Diem (as needed basis)• Overtime: Not required• Travel: Not required• Holidays: Not requiredQualifications & Requirements• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of New York• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field• Experience in clinical, rehabilitative, or correctional healthcare settings preferred• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills• Excellent communication and documentation abilities• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment• Must successfully complete background check and fingerprinting prior to startAdditional Information• Max Bill Rate: $90/hour (No VMS Fee & NBO)• Submission Deadline: May 29, 2026• Question Deadline: May 20, 2026Client DetailsAddressNYS DOCCS GREENE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, 165 PLANK ROAD, COXSACKIE, NY 12051CityCoxsackieStateNYZip Code12051Job Board Disclaimer
