Sales Consultant
Opera Beds is an established, fast-growing business specializing in premium medical beds and mattresses for home care - working D2C with caregivers, family members and end users. Headquartered in the UK and recently expanding into the USA, we are seeking a Sales Consultant to join our growing U.S. team in Lady Lake, Florida. This role is focused on converting inbound leads through phone, email, virtual video visits, and in-person showroom appointments, while guiding customers, family members, and caregivers through the buying journey. The ideal candidate will have experience in phone-based sales, call center environments, customer support, retail selling, or business development, with strong communication skills and a consultative approach. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for calling, nurturing and closing inbound sales leads D2C customer base who need assistance and advice in selecting home care beds end users, family members and caregivers Able to conduct video calls and virtual showroom visits Also required to do in-person showroom visits Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs Support customers throughout the buying journey with product information and guidance Maintain accurate records of lead status and follow-up activity Work closely with the sales team and management to support conversion goals Represent the company professionally in a showroom-based, in-office sales environment Ideal CandidatePrevious experience in retail, call center, SDR/BDR, or other customer-facing sales environments, ideally in a structured, performance-driven setting Experience in phone-based sales, including handling inbound inquiries, making outbound follow-ups, and qualifying leads quickly to build a strong sales pipeline. Strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers through consistent communication. A consultative sales approach, with the ability to identify customer needs, present solutions effectively, and confidently guide prospects toward a purchase decision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain product details, next steps, and showroom visit options via phone and email Role Specifics & CompensationFull-time office based in Lady Lake, Florida Salary: $60,000 + commission Generous benefits inc medical and PTO Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm Reports to US General Manager
