Department 0100 - School of MedicinePosition InformationMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.A minimum of three (3) years’ progressively responsible experience in development and fund raising, preferably with several years of experience in a college/university or School of Medicine setting.Demonstrated success in obtaining gifts of $25,000 and above with a focus on corporate relationship.Experience working with fundraising advisory boards and volunteers.Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to interact effectively with high-capacity corporate donors and prospects, corporate executives, and foundation officers.Thorough knowledge of the major gifts fundraising process and an understanding of corporate sponsorships.Knowledge of Advancement related software and databases and their application to development and fundraising activities.Requirements could include evening meetings, special event attendance and/or travel.Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University’s insurance carrier.Desired QualificationsMaster’s DegreeAll QualificationsUnless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.Position DetailsPosition PurposeReporting directly to the Sr. Director of Philanthropy OUWB SOM , the Manager of Corporate Relations will conduct Corporate gift fundraising activities for OUWB and the OU schools of Health. This is a unique position that will primarily manage a corporate portfolio. This position will manage the fundraising process for an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors and conducts activities leading to gifts of $25,000 and above for identified goals and programs. The candidate will be responsible for aspects of corporate fundraising for OUWB , SON and SHS which includes corporate research, sponsorship cultivation and solicitation, and sponsorship benefits fulfillment, and working with the corporate advancement team to support broad based solicitation strategies and projects.Job Open Date 05/29/2026Job Close Date
