The ideal candidate brings 1 to 5 years of litigation experience and a genuine passion for consumer advocacy. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for an attorney who thrives on aggressive, discovery-driven litigation and can manage competing priorities across a dynamic caseload.Associates receive direct mentorship from partners and senior attorneys, with strong performers quickly advancing into high-stakes depositions, trial prep, and second-chair trial opportunities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESWritten DiscoveryDraft written discovery, review responses and document productions, and participate in e-discovery reviewLaw & MotionDraft and argue motions related to discovery disputes, pleading challenges, oppositions to MSAs, and other consumer-side motionsAttend oral arguments across a variety of California courtroomsDepositionsPrepare and defend consumer client depositionsDepose percipient witnesses and corporate defense representativesPrepare expert witnesses and attend expert depositionsVehicle InspectionsAttend vehicle inspections alongside expert witnessesGeneralTimely billing and reportingAssist partners and senior attorneys as neededQUALIFICATIONSJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive California Bar membership in good standing1-5 years of litigation experience as a California-licensed attorneyGenuine interest in consumer protection and public interest lawStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlinesProficiency in MS Office, Westlaw, and OutlookCollaborative, growth-oriented mindsetBilingual Spanish a plus, not requiredWillingness to travel within California for court, depositions, and inspectionsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSCompetitive base salary ($140K-$185K)HMO/PPO Medical, PPO Dental, Vision InsuranceSTD/LTD and Basic Life Insurance401(k) with contributions up to 10%529 Plan and Pet InsuranceMentorship from senior attorneys and partnersHybrid schedule (Mon/Fri optional WFH; Tue-Thu in office)This position is presented in confidence by TGC Talent.
