CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER & OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE Location: Surfside, FL (On-Site) Employment Type: Full-TimeThe Commercial Construction Project Manager and Owner's Representative will oversee the full renovation of a high-rise hospitality building. The role will span all phases of the project-from preconstruction planning through final occupancy-ensuring that the owner's vision, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.Key Responsibilities for the Owner Representative | Commercial Construction include: * Act as the primary liaison between ownership, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. * Oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and quality control. * Monitor progress against project milestones and proactively address potential delays or cost overruns. * Review and approve contractor payment applications, change orders, and budget adjustments. * Ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and permitting requirements. * Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and adherence to design specifications. * Lead and document project meetings, providing clear updates to ownership and stakeholders. * Anticipate and resolve conflicts, ensuring smooth communication across all parties. * Safeguard the owner's interests by managing risk and making strategic recommendations.Requirements for the Owner Representative | Commercial Construction: * Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale commercial high-rise renovation or construction projects, preferably as an Owner's Representative or Project Manager. * Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus. * Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach. * Deep knowledge of construction best practices, sequencing, contracts, and project controls. * Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. * Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. * Must be based in the Surfside area or willing to relocate; local high-rise project experience is strongly preferred.
