Oracle OPERA Technical Architect (Remote)📍 Remote | Contract (6 months + extension potential) (W2)🌟 About the OpportunityWe are partnering with Vail Resorts (largest ski resort operator in the world) on a high-visibility OPERA implementation initiative . This role will play a critical part in bringing OPERA live across the enterprise.We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle OPERA Technical Architect / Senior Technical Analyst to lead integration architecture, data mapping, and system design across a complex hospitality technology ecosystem.🎯 What You’ll DoYou’ll be the technical authority for OPERA integrations , responsible for shaping the architecture and ensuring alignment across all downstream systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead OPERA Integration Architecture Design and oversee end-to-end integrations between OPERA and internal systems Own Data Mapping & Transformation Define schemas, data flows, and transformation logic across systems Drive Integration Strategy Provide direction for integrations with:EDW / data warehousePeopleSoft (GL)Loyalty systemsPOS / transaction systemsDoor locks, commissions (Onyx), and owner reporting Partner with Middleware Teams Guide SnapLogic developers on:Interface designSequencing & orchestrationError handling and performance Collaborate Cross-Functionally Work with:Oracle architectsInternal engineering teamsLeadership stakeholders Lead Technical Workshops & Design Sessions Advise on OPERA Configuration Impacts Ensure downstream systems and reporting are aligned Support Go-Live & Stabilization Assist with cutover planning, triage, and post-go-live support✅ What We’re Looking For Required Experience: Deep experience with Oracle OPERA (Cloud and/or on-prem)Strong background in technical architecture and system integrationsExperience with:OHIP, OXI, or OPERA APIsMulti-property hospitality environmentsProven ability to:Lead complex integration effortsOwn data mapping and downstream data impactsExperience working with:Oracle-provided teams and vendor partnersStrong communication skills with ability to present to Director/VP-level stakeholders 💡 Ideal Candidate: Has led OPERA implementations or integrations end-to-endUnderstands hospitality technology ecosystemsCan step in quickly with minimal onboardingComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environmentBrings both hands-on technical skills and strategic insight🏆 What Success Looks LikeOPERA integrations are fully designed and aligned across systemsData mapping is complete and validated with downstream teamsMiddleware teams have clear direction and deliverablesLeadership has confidence in architecture decisionsSmooth OPERA pilot go-live (target: September) with minimal disruption📅 Additional DetailsStart Date: ASAP (target early June)Duration: 6 months (likely extension through stabilization)Interview Process: 2 rounds (Teams – Manager + Director/VP)Work Environment: 100% RemoteWe reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.Eligibility Requirements Apply To Some Benefits And May Depend On Your Job Classification And Length Of Employment.
