Seasonal Resort Outlet Host

The Eden Resort & Suites Host will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them with a warm and friendly demeanor. Must be at least 16 years of age.Responsibilities:Greet incoming and departing guests warmly, escort them to the assigned dining area, present menus, and announce the waiter's name.Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area, depending on their preference.Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.Tend to special guest needs and requests.Manage the seating chartPut guests on waitlists and manage the list.Receive takeout orders and use the POS.Assist dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages.Various side work.Issue dining charges, verify orders, calculate taxes, and total bills for to-go orders.Receive payments by validating credit card charges, approving checks, accept currency.Reconcile cash drawer, prove cash transactions, list checks, and credit card charges for to-go orders.Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:ESSENTIAL SKILLS:Upbeat and outgoing individual.Able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills.Able to work positively in a fast-paced environment.Strong teamwork skills.Customer service-oriented ensures each guest has an excellent experience.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:• At least one (1) year of restaurant experience is preferred.About Company:The Eden Resort & Suites offers a collection of unique and upscale guest rooms and suites, unsurpassed on-site recreational facilities, and an exceptional staff ready to meet guests' needs.
