Program Manager - Service Management

Job DescriptionSunPlus Data Group is looking for a Program Manager (Virginian Identity Service Owner) for the State of VA in Richmond.This is for 12+ monthsHours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week, 8am - 5pmPay is $90 W2 hourly or $100 hr. 1099Job # 744607This position is 4 days per week onsite in Richmond, VA- candidates must be able to commute (Not negotiable)It usually takes the Government about 3-4 weeks to select candidates, just so that you are aware of the timeframe. ABOUT THE ROLE:The purpose of this position is to manage delivery for the Virginian Identity service which is in the Enterprise solutions directorate. This position responsible for developing and promoting the Virginian Identity service.The position will utilize ITIL and other principles to gather requirements, identify customer demand and develop the service that leverages the existing expertise and infrastructure.Identify opportunities for to revise the solution. Develop and implement processes to ensure the solution is delivered to customers in an efficient and effective manner. Provide strategic direction for delivery of the Virginian Identity service.The position will ensure the service aligns with evolving customer needs and compliance requirements. The position will be responsible for working with customers and vendors to identify opportunities and ensure consistent delivery.REQUIRED SKILLS:Demonstrated service management skills.Knowledge and experience with identity management tools.Knowledge and experience with single sign-on tools.Understanding of best practices in service management including contract and vendor management.Proven ability to manage delivery of the service with Service and Operational Level Agreements.Demonstrated ability to adequately plan and meet delivery objectives and maintain adequate service levels in a highly dynamic, complex environment.Excellent verbal and writing skills, along with the ability to develop and effectively communicate complex technology concepts and materials to a diveExperienced in creating and managing budgets.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good customer working relationshipsDemonstrated ability to work with all levels of management, customers, and vendors.Understanding of outsourcing contracts and the service delivery management implications.Experience in enterprise security and maintaining compliance per security standards.Experience with Client/Stakeholder management and preparation of proposal / technical presentations is required.Company DescriptionSunPlus Data Group is a company whose senior management has logged more than 60 man-years in managing Projects, Software engineering, production, and supply chain processes in Government, Aerospace / Aviation, Defense, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Energy, and Communications industries.
