The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety.Duties/Responsibilities:Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the companyCollects and enters orders for new or additional products or servicesForwards customer questions and concerns to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staffField customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staffEnsures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concernsMaintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or commentsPerforms other related duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent (required)Minimum two (2) years of customer service experienceExperience in high-volume phone call settings (preferred)Experience in the oil and propane industry (preferred)Skills/Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsService-oriented and the ability to resolve customer grievancesProficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new softwareMust be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different softwarePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plantMust pass pre-employment screening and background checkMeritum Energy Holdings is an equal opportunity employer to all qualified applicants regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental ability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, status as a disabled veteran and/or veteran of the Vietnam War Era or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
