Saw / Tile Cutter – Core Processing Job Duties * Safely operate wet diamond core saws, tile cutters, and core splitting equipment. * Cut drill core accurately along marked sample lines as directed by geologists. * Prepare, label, organize, and package core samples for shipment and storage. * Load, unload, move, and organize drill core using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling. * Maintain saws, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition. * Follow sample identification and chain-of-custody procedures. * Assist with core photography, measurements, data entry, and general facility tasks as needed. * Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED. * Previous saw, tile cutting, mining, construction, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred. * Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a diamond saw and material-handling equipment. * Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching. * Ability to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection when necessary. Pay rate $28-$32 per hour DOE
