Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Everett, Washington.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Labor and DeliveryDiscipline: RNStart Date: 06/15/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Nights, 3x12hrsHours: 36 hrs/wkStart Date: Jun 15, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-risk Level III perinatal care unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency.DetailsWork is performed at the Pavilion for Women and Children (Pacific Campus), a comprehensive maternity facility with a Level II NICUHigh-risk perinatal care unit featuring 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACUs, and a 7-bay triagePatient ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2-3 in antepartumTriage is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift; postpartum has 3 CNAs per shift to assist RNs3–4 delivering providers, 2 CRNAs, and 2 Health Unit Coordinators available 24/7Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)Weekend shifts are requiredFloating to Postpartum is required; travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the stateCharting is done in Epic (experience required)No on-call responsibilitiesRequirementsActive WA state or compact RN license requiredCurrent certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal MonitoringMinimum 2 years of L&D experience requiredSterile vaginal exam (SVE) proficiency is a hard requirementEpic EMR experience requiredExperience in a facility performing 200+ deliveries per year is strongly preferred; candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries may be consideredMinimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for considerationSSN and DOB required for considerationActive professional license required at time of considerationAll required certifications must be current at time of considerationAdditional InformationFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyLocal candidates are not accepted for this positionFormer permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facilityScrub color is open (reddish-orange is not permitted)Parking is covered by the facilityAll requested time off must be disclosed upfront; RTO requests made after submission may be deniedAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-708167.
