Position Overview GI opportunity with predictable procedure volume and manageable call: approximately 8 endoscopy cases per half-day, weekday consult support from a Nurse Practitioner, and one week of coverage per month along the South Carolina coast.One of our Partners, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage for 7-day monthly coverage blocks throughout 2026.This assignment combines 24-hour hospital call coverage with structured endoscopy time and limited outpatient clinic, allowing physicians to focus primarily on consultative and procedural work while maintaining continuity of care for patients seen during the coverage week.Market Pay Ranking: Top 10% nationally for Gastroenterology locum call coverage (2026 market data)Estimated earnings per coverage block:Weekly Earnings: $23,800 - $25,200Monthly Earnings (1 block): $23,800 - $25,200Travel and lodging are fully prepaid and not deducted from provider compensation.
