The Supervisor, Operations oversees warehouse operations at a company location working closely with the Branch Manager, which includes receiving, stocking, and shipping as well as directly managing the warehouse team while ensuring a safe and efficient warehouse. This position will serve our Rheem Midwest Distribution Division, located in West Allis, WI. ResponsibilitiesPlan and oversee warehouse and delivery operations to deliver outstanding customer service and employee safetyWork closely with the Branch Manager to ensure consistency in branch culture and communicationRecruit and onboard new hires with the support of the Human Resources teamTrain and mentor team to support ongoing development and growthOversee the cycle counting process at the location ensuring completion and accuracyMaintain physical facility to ensure safety, protect against loss, and represent a professional company imageDevelop and implement standard operating proceduresManage branch inventory levels by working with other Design Air locations and the Purchasing teamAssist in developing and maintaining a budget for company locationMay be required to perform the various warehousing and delivery tactical roles when neededAll other duties and project work as assigned Qualifications5+ years of a strong background in warehouse operations, delivery, shipping and receiving, and inventory requiredHVAC industry experience a plus, but not requiredWarehouse management experience preferredAssociate or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferredMust be able to work independently with minimal directionAbility to delegate tasks when necessaryGood judgment and decision-making skillsWillingness to work with customers, contractors, and employees in a professional mannerExcellent people management skills, including employee and customer relations, recruiting, training, and developmentGreat communication skills with the ability and desire to influence and a lead a teamHigh level of organization and follow throughSkilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointWillingness to own and lead projects As a leader at Rheem, how you achieve results is as important as the results you achieve.
