Ticket Agent Apprentice
Apprenticeship Program Requirements:
Must be a US citizen or resident alien
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be a resident or Guam for a period not less than three (3) consecutive years before entry into the program. Mayor's Verification must be submitted upon hire.
Must be able to attend a minimum of two (2) classes per semester as identified by program coordinator, while working forty (40) hours per week
* Our Apprenticeship program requires for the selected candidate to be in a study program and enrolled with GCC *
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to make accurate bookings for customers
Calculate expenses and write sell tickets to the passengers.
Help passengers by answering questions on travel arrangements.
Help passengers to plan for their trips.
Ticketing, makes and/or changes reservations, seat assignments, answers inquiries about flight schedule and fares, verifies reservation by phone, calculates fares and handles payments.
Provide good customer service
Responsible for handling ticket reservations, cancellations, alterations, and informing customers when a flight has been delayed or canceled.
Other tasks as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
At least one years of experience in the related field.
Knowledge of ArchTics, Outbox and NLIVEN ticketing software
Knowledge of ticket office operations.
Skilled in both verbal and written communication.
Skills on organizing self and others.
Must have well-groomed appearance, respect for details and accuracy, a pleasant and courteous manner.
Have the ability to work varied shifts and schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays and some overtime.
Must be able to handle stressful situations.
Prolonged periods of walking.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
