The incumbent assures the delivery of quality services and that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with the established standards of nursing and the standards of practice at Emerson Hospital.Reporting to this position are various clinical professional and support positions, including Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Assistants and Unit SecretariesMinimum QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursingExperienceRequires a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience within specialty area and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirementsLicensure and/or CertificationCurrent RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
