Production AssociateThe Production Associate maximizes store profitability by efficiently working the process, sorting and pricing donation to provide a fresh and full store. This role helps to build skills and change lives in each of our communities.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Uses quality standards to sort donations into outbound containers for e-commerce, salvage, or trashQuickly determines if item is unit priced or tagged with good/better/best price using standard guidelineEasily identify brands and high interest items to maximize value in store or through e-commerceMeets 1 touch production goals- HL Donations from door to floor in 15 minutes or 1 SL rack per hourCommunicates with material handler to bring product, empty garbage and swap out salvage containersPromptly greets customers when on the sales floor and donors when in the donation centerMaintain a safe and clean work environment by following established 5S and safety guidelinesWorks the process staying in station producing primary donations, as assignedWorks the process providing back-up to take in donations or put out product, as assignedConsistently interacting with co-workers, shoppers, and donors in a professional and pleasant mannerConsistently perform all duties within the framework of our Core ValuesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment, if over 18Good interpersonal and customer service skillsTravel Required: NoRequired education and/or work experience:No experience necessaryDescription of physical working environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
