This role ensures alignment between sales and operations, drives efficiency, and delivers best-in-class customer experience while supporting profitable growth.This leader partners closely with Regional Operations Manager (ROM) and Regional Vice-President (RVP), along with Area/Branch leadership, and functional teams to standardize processes, improve performance, and strengthen operational discipline across the area.Serve as the primary liaison between sales and operations across all branches in the assigned areaDrive consistent execution of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management standardsLead initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and service levels across locationsEnsure effective order flow and backlog management to meet customer expectationsDeliver clear, actionable insights to Area Sales Leaders and Regional Vice Presidents.Translate complex data into concise, executive-ready summaries.Monitor and manage inter-branch transfers and RDC logistics coordinationReview inventory adjustments, discrepancies, and root cause trends across branchesReview Job Management/PLS Transactions to ensure project close-out, including financial billings and material dispositionReview and manage overhead expenses and cost controls across the areaAnalyze operational performance, budgets, and forecasts to drive accountabilitySupport resolution of customer and vendor invoice disputes (AP/AR issues)Ensure proper handling of returns, credits, and financial accuracyEvaluate branch performance using data, reporting tools (Power BI), and KPIsIdentify operational gaps and implement corrective action plansDrive adoption of standard processes and continuous improvement initiativesPromote a sales-driven operations mindset focused on customer responsivenessSupport Branch Managers and Warehouse Leaders in training, coaching, and team developmentCoordinate and lead area-wide operational training sessionsReinforce Crawford's mindset competencies: Adapt, Dare, LearnPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and executionOversee facility maintenance and operational readiness across locationsMaintain Asset Management and Tracking in the assigned areaCoordinate building contracts, vendor relationships, and upkeep standardsEnsure safe, organized, and efficient working environmentsQualificationsComputer literate.Proficiency with Solar/Eclipse ERP softwareProficiency with Microsoft Power BiProficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively.Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administration.Basic understanding of general HR policies and procedures.Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum five years' clerical or administrative experience in the electrical distribution industryEnvironmentNote: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
