Education Specialist (ASD I, II. Grades 1-5, Reading & Math)
The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is looking for passionate Grade 1-5 Educational Specialists to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will work one-on-one with students who require reading/math/executive function intervention and support.Position: Grade 1-5 Educational TherapistLocations: St-Paul, MN, East Orange, NJClassification: Contract (1099)The Role:Provide individualized instruction using evidence based instruction to support to students diagnosed with one or more of the following: ADD/ADHD, ASD, Executive DysfunctionUtilize our assessment tools to identify specific areas of need for each studentDevelop and implement personalized learning plans that address students' unique challengesMonitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as neededCollaborate with parents and educators to communicate student progress and strategies for supportCreate a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their reading goalsRequirementsBachelor's degree Special Education, Speech Language Pathology, or a closely related disciplineCertification as a Reading Specialist or SPED TeacherExperience working with neurodivergent learning populationsStrong understanding of intervention strategies and evidence-based practicesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to build rapport and encourage students to enhance their reading skillsAvailability to work flexible hours, including after-school and weekend sessionsBenefitsReliable weekly and monthly schedules.
