Insurance Workflow Associate
SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-oriented insurance professional who loves organization and knows the "ins and outs" of agency workflows? We are looking for a tech-savvy Routing Specialist to serve as the air traffic controller of our agency’s communications.
In this role, you won't just be moving paper; you’ll be ensuring our client data is seamless, our follow-ups are airtight, and our carrier communications are handled with precision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Workflow Management: Receive, sort, and route all incoming electronic and physical mail.
System Integration: Upload, attach, and meticulously document communications within our Agency Management System (AMS).
Task Optimization: Set up and assign appropriate follow-up activities to ensure no client request or policy update falls through the cracks.
Carrier Liaison: Monitor and manage various carrier dashboards, handling digital communications and ensuring agency records match carrier data.
Quality Control: Review incoming documents for accuracy before routing to the appropriate production or service teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum of 2+ years in the insurance industry.
Must hold an active 20-44 (Personal Lines) or 220 (General Lines) License
Proficiency with Agency Management Systems and a comfort level navigating multiple carrier portals simultaneously.
An eagle eye for and attention to detail—you understand that a misplaced or missed attachment matters.
You understand that your speed and accuracy directly impact on the success of the sales, service, processing, and renewal teams.
