Controller - $80k-$110k/annually DOE!This position is a direct hire opportunity!Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Controller for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $80k-$110k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!Responsibilities:The Controller is responsible for directing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls across the organization. This position ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial statements, supports operational and strategic decision-making, and maintains compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. The Controller will partner closely with senior leadership to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. As a member of the management team, this individual will contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives aligned with achieving sustainable profitability.Financial Management & ReportingPrepare and oversee the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure timely, accurate close of all accounting periodsMaintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accountsAnalyze financial performance and provide detailed variance explanationsCost Accounting & Manufacturing SupportOversee standard costing, cost modeling, and inventory valuation within a Contribution Model Accounting frameworkEvaluate production costs, including labor and overhead variancesMonitor and support cost accounting systems, with preference for ERP/Plex experienceInternal Controls & ComplianceEstablish and maintain internal control procedures to protect company assetsEnsure adherence to GAAP and relevant regulatory requirementsCoordinate year-end processes, including tax preparation and compliance, in partnership with external accounting firmsLeadership & Process ImprovementLead, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including AR and AP functionsCollaborate with executive leadership on financial strategy and key business decisionsSupport optimization and continuous improvement of the PLEX ERP systemDevelop and maintain efficient departmental workflows and processesLocation: Kewanna, IN100% OnsiteSchedule/Shift Details: First ShiftQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilityStrong working knowledge of GAAPProven experience with financial reporting and month-end close processesBackground in manufacturing and/or cost accountingQualifications (Preferred)CPA or CMA designationExperience with Plex ERP or similar manufacturing systemsStrong knowledge of standard costing and inventory managementAudit experienceExposure to or understanding of HR benefits administration is a plusBenefits:MedicalDentalVisionPTO401k
