Maintenance Helper/Custodial

Maintenance 1/Custodial performs a variety of light maintenance and janitorial custodial duties for residents, offices, and common areas and community as a whole.SCHEDULE: FULL TIME, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.PAY: $18.00 - $20.00/ hour, depending on experience.Experience1+ year of experience in building maintenance, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.High school diploma or equivalent requiredAttendance at a technical training institute or program preferred.Work DutiesPerform general and preventive maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and flooring repairs.Respond to work orders promptly and complete tasks according to assigned priorities and timelines.Maintain resident units, common areas, and exterior grounds; handle basic cleaning, trash, and recycling needs.Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies while keeping work areas clean and organized.Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulations while communicating professionally with residents, team members, and vendors.May clean common areas, including public restrooms, elevators, offices, public rooms, beauty salon, resident and employee lounges; dusts, sanitizes and scrubs;Empties trash receptacles; may deposit recyclable material in proper receptacles; picks up trash and keeps exterior perimeter clean;What's in it for you?
