The Dental Assistant will be responsible for preparing treatment areas, assisting the dentist during procedures, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining patient records. Additionally, the role includes educating patients on oral hygiene practices, managing inventory for dental supplies, and ensuring a comfortable environment for patients during their visits. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with the dental team to provide a high standard of care in a professional setting.QualificationsExperience with dental procedures, instrument sterilization, and chair-side surgical assistingKnowledge of dental implants, extractions and dentures a plus Strong communication and patient-care skills to ensure a positive experienceOrganizational and time-management abilities to maintain an efficient workflowUnderstanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control proceduresBasic computer skills for patient record management and schedulingCompletion of an accredited Dental Assistant training program is preferredCertification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
