METEOROLOGIST (Full-Time – Weekday Evenings)WINK News—Southwest Florida's News Leader—is seeking a Meteorologist who delivers accurate forecasts with a personable, engaging on-air presence. This is a full-time, weekday evening position .Responsibilities:Present weathercasts on TV and radioProduce forecasts and weather content for digital and social platformsProvide live coverage during severe weather eventsParticipate in community appearances and outreachQualifications: AMS member; CBM or CBM-eligible preferredStrong on-air communication and storytelling skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentTropical weather experience is a plus (training provided)Refined interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate professionally across departments3+ years of professional broadcast meteorology experience preferredProven ability to cover severe weather and breaking weather events on-airExperience with tropical forecasting preferredSouthwest Florida is a dynamic weather market—frequent lightning, tropical systems, and occasional winter cold events—offering a great opportunity to grow within a strong, supportive weather team.Interested candidates should submit a reel and resume.
