Valid New Jersey Certification in School Counseling (Standard or Certificate of Eligibility).? Experience in a Pre-K-8 school district.? Experience with I&RS, 504 & Anti-Bullying preferred.? Broad knowledge of testing, evaluation, theories of group guidance techniques, elementary/secondary school guidance program design, anti-bullying mandates and administration of standardized testing.? Knowledge of ethical standards, strategies and parenting skills; legal mandates regarding provision of services; classroom instructional interventions and behavioral management techniques; and understanding of Child Study Team and IEP process.? Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.? Ability to establish positive and effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and community. ? Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000, commensurate upon experience. Benefit eligible.
