Now Hiring Mechanical Maintenance Technician's ASAPApply to interview immediately!!Pay: $33/hourShifts: Day, Afternoon, NightJob DescriptionThis direct placement role seeks experienced Maintenance Technicians to support an industrial facility by performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery and mechanical equipment. You will work on gears, belts, conveyor systems, and industrial paper machines, ensuring reliable operation and minimal downtime across multiple shifts.ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, including gears, belts, conveyor systems, and industrial paper machines.Complete routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.Locate sources of mechanical problems by observing equipment in operation, listening for irregular sounds, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair methods to restore equipment to proper working condition.Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and by carefully examining the form and texture of parts.Essential SkillsAt least 5+ years of experience working in an industrial maintenance technician role.Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial environment.Strong experience in preventive and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, including gears and belts.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in an industrial building or manufacturing environment.Comfort working across different shifts as needed, including day, evening, and night shifts.Attention to detail when inspecting parts and components for wear, damage, or dimensional changes.Why Work Here?Join a company that is newly established in the area and offers significant opportunity for growth as the operation expands.
